WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Drury wrestling competed in the Kaufman Brand Bayly Open, hosted by Central Missouri, on Saturday, Nov. 22.
The Panthers were led by Bryson Humphries, who finished second in the 125-pound bracket. Humphries won his first three duals 3-0, 7-3, and 8-6 before dropping the final in a 4-0 decision.
Jeremiah Halter placed fourth in the 174-pound bracket. Halter won his first two duals 4-2 and 19-4, before a technical fall loss in the next round. The Liberty native added a 7-5 victory before falling in a 3-1 decision in the third-place match.
Nate Wishne placed sixth at 141 pounds. After a major-decision loss in his opener, Wishne won four straight with scores of 16-5, 11-3, 4-1, and 9-7. The redshirt junior fell by technical fall, 15-0, to place sixth.

Drury wrestling will face Neosho County and GLVC opponent McKendree in a tri-meet on Thursday, Dec. 4, in Springfield, Mo.
