SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury wrestling is set to host a series of duals, with a tri-meet against No. 11 McKendree and Neosho County on Thursday, Dec. 4, followed by a tri-meet against Labette and Quincy on Saturday, Dec. 6. 
 
The Panthers are coming off competition at Central Missouri's Kaufman Brand Bayly Open on Nov. 22. Bryson Humphries led Drury with a second-place finish in the 125-pound bracket, while Jeremiah Halter and Nate Wishne also placed, finishing fourth and sixth, respectively. 
 
Drury opens Thursday against its first Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) opponent of the season, No. 11 McKendree. The Bearcats are 1-2 and are coming off a 33-3 loss to Central Oklahoma.
 
After the McKendree dual, the Panthers face Neosho County. The Neosho Panthers are 2-4 this season and are coming off a 38-13 loss to Northern Oklahoma. 
 
Moving to Saturday, Drury begins the day against Labette. The Cardinals are a perfect 4-0 in duals this season and enter the weekend after wins over Kansas State and Murray State. 
 
Drury closes the weekend against GLVC opponent Quincy. The Hawks are off to a 4-0 start, with their most recent win a 41-11 victory over Neosho County.

  • McKendree leads the all-time series 8-0.
  • Last season, the Panthers fell 37-11 to the Bearcats. 
  • Drury is 1-0 all-time against Neosho County and Labette.
