LEBANON, Ill. – The Drury Wrestling team dropped a Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) dual to #7 McKendree, 37-11, on Saturday.
The Panthers threatened the Bearcats early with a
Bryson Humphries. Humphries has Jason Strope on the ropes in the 125 class, but Strope was able to pull it out by a one-point decision.
Drury picked up their first win of the evening from #14
Will Kuster. In the 165 class, Kuster was able to pick up the tech fall win. This was Kuster's ninth win by tech fall this season, putting in the top five of division two.
The final win that the Panthers got was from
Tristan Staat. Staat was able to win by fall over Shamon Handegan. The win was Staat's fifth win by fall this season.
Drury returns to the mat on February 9 against #17 Upper Iowa. The dual will be in Weiser Gym at 2 pm.
