Panthers travel to Truman St.
The Drury Panthers start a two-game road trip on Thursday as they travel to Truman State for a 7:30 pm game in Kirksville, Missouri.

Drury is 10-10 and 5-8 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The Panthers are coming off a 69-67 loss at home to Lewis. Drury had won four of their last five prior to Saturday's loss.

Truman State is 12-8 and 6-6 in the GLVC. The Bulldogs, who were picked to win the conference in the GLVC preseason coaches' poll, have won four of their last five, including a 65-55 win at William Jewell on Saturday.

Drury lost to Truman State at the buzzer earlier this year, 78-77, on Dec. 7 at the O'Reilly Family Event Center, and Xavier Hall hit a 15-foot shot at the final horn to give the Bulldogs the win. The Panthers lead the all-time series 13-12 and will be playing at Truman State for on the third time in nine years.

After Thursday's game, Drury heads to Quincy for a 3 pm game on Saturday in Quincy, Ill.

Logan Applegate reached the 1,000 career points milestone in his last game on Saturday against Lewis. The junior from Nevada, Missouri, became the 45th player in program history to reach 1,000 points and he will enter Thursday's game ranked 45th on Drury's all-time scoring list with 1,001 points. Applegate needs 15 points to pass Ian Carter (2010-15) for 44th on Drury's all-time list.

Truman State is the second-best free throw shooting team in the league, with a .799 percentage.
