SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury fell to #17 Upper Iowa, 39-6, on Sunday to close out the regular season in the O'Reilly Family Event Center.
 
The dual started in the 174-weight class with the Peacocks winning the first four matches, two of them by fall, one by major, and a decision win in the 285 class.
 
 The first win for the Panthers came from Bryson Humphries in 125. Humphries battled with Jackson Heaston. The two went back and forth before Humphries pulled away to get the win by decision, 12-5.
 
In the last match of the day, Will Kuster defeated Collin Altensety. #14 Kuster leads the nation in technical falls, and it looked like he would add another one early. Altensey battled late to keep it a four-point win for Kuster, 12-8.
 
Drury will return to the mat on February 16 for the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament. The Panthers will open up as the fifth seed and wrestle Maryville. A win will face Drury up with Upper Iowa, a loss would have the Panthers match up with the loser of Indianapolis and Quincy.
