Lady Panthers face Upper Iowa in GLVC Tournament Quarterfinals
Drury faces Upper Iowa in the Great Lakes Valley Conference tournament quarterfinals on Thursday at 8:15 pm at Hyland Arena in St. Charles, Mo.

The Lady Panthers are seeded second after going 21-6 and 17-3 in the GLVC during the regular season. Drury ended the regular season with a 68-59 win at home over Missouri S&T and heads into the tournament on a five-game winning streak.

Upper Iowa, seeded seventh, is 13-13 and went 10-10 in the conference. The Peacocks lost on Saturday to 17th ranked Lewis at home, 84-58, in their regular season finale.

Drury won the lone match-up between the two teams 74-67 on Jan. 30 in Springfield.
Rhi Gibbons had a game-high 26 points for the Lady Panthers, and
Sara Mendel had a season-high 16 rebounds as Drury came from two points down at halftime to win by seven. The Lady Panthers lead the all-time series over Upper Iowa 4-0.

The winner of Thursday's game will advance to the GLVC semifinals to face the winner of number three seed Quincy and sixth-seeded Missouri S&T on Saturday at 8:15 pm in St. Charles. The GLVC Championship game is scheduled for Sunday at 3:30 pm.

Drury in the GLVC Tournament
Drury has won the GLVC Tournament championship 10 times, including seven straight from 2017 to 2023. The Lady Panthers have won a total of 12 league titles in their 25-year history, winning two championships in the Heartland Conference.

Drury is 39-9 all-time in the GLVC Tournament and has gone 28-2 in the league's postseason in the last 10 years. The Lady Panthers are 14-4 all-time in the GLVC quarterfinal round; they are 13-1 all-time in the semifinals, and Drury is 10-3 in the championship game.

The Lady Panthers got past Upper Iowa in the conference tournament last year, winning 88-82 in the semifinals. Drury reached the tournament finals last season for the eighth straight year.

Two Drury players are climbing the program's single season charts.

Caitlynn Daniels has 176 assists this year, the second-most ever in a DU single-season. Bernard also holds the single-season record with 211 assists in 2018-19. Daniels now owns two of the top three single-season assist totals in program history.Â

Makaiya Brooks has 70 three-pointers and is tied with Alice Heinzler's total of 70 in 2016 for 12th on the single-season chart.
