SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their 2025 academic all-district baseball team on June 3. Drury had five players earn the honor.

The 2025 Academic All-District® Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Jackson Crider received the honor for the first time. The Redshirt Freshman from San Antonio, Texas, led the entire Midwest region in batting average with .434, on-base percentage with .548, hits with 82, and hit by pitches with 29. In May, Crider was named to the all-American honorable mention team from the Division Two Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA), the all-region first team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA), American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and the Division Two Conference Commissioners Associations (D2CCA). He was also a unanimous first-team all-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) selection. Crider's .434 average was 12th in the nation. He was also in the top ten in the country in hit-by-pitches (7th) and on-base percentage (9th). His 82 hits were the 39th most in the country. Crider is a finalist for Academic All-American.

Connor Bain earned Academic All-District for the second time. The junior from Troy, Illinois, was an all-GLVC Honorable Mention this season. The Panthers' center fielder was second on the batting average with a .321. Bain also recorded a .901 OPS, 19 extra-base hits, 40 RBIs, and was 14-14 on stolen bases.

Drury starting pitcher, Nick Gales, earned the honor for the first time in his career. Gales posted a 4.98 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 4-3 record, and two complete games, in his first full season as a starter. The senior from Troy, Missouri, struck out 67 this season in 77.2 innings pitched.

Gage Hayes was on the team for the first time. Hayes was Drury's top starting pitcher after starting the season in the bullpen. The junior from Lake Winnebago, Missouri, was an all-GLVC second-team selection. Hayes had a 4.71 ERA, 1.43 WHIP, a 7-1 record, and four complete games. Hayes led the Panthers with 70 strikeouts and a team-low 16 walks.

Drury graduate senior, Cody Bahl, was on the team for the first time. Bahl broke two program records this season: single-game strikeout (14 vs McKendree) and career innings pitched (319.1). The Lee's Summit native was 5-4 on the season with one save. Bahl posted a 1.72 WHIP.

Drury's season ended in the GLVC Tournament with a 33-23 overall record.
