ST. LOUIS -- In an impressive display of skill and teamwork, Drury men's rugby clinched a decisive 63-10 victory over Saint Louis University Saturday evening at SLU South Campus Field.

Drury built an insurmountable 19-3 first-half lead, allowing for valuable playing time for many of the younger Panthers, which contributed significantly to their on-field experience and development.

Throughout the match, several Drury players had opportunities to perform conversion kicks. The effective offensive effort by the Panthers was highlighted by numerous tries scored by a variety of players, showcasing a well-rounded team performance.

"Overall, the side continues to improve incrementally, but we have a lot of additional work that needs to be done to compete at this level each time out," Drury head coach Bryan Bevel stated.

Up next, the Panthers are scheduled to face Southern Nazarene on Saturday (Sept. 13) in Bethany, Okla.
