SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Lady Panthers look to extend their winning streak to eight games on Thursday evening against the winless William Jewell Cardinals in Liberty.
 
Drury and William Jewell met already once this season on January 4. The Lady Panthers picked up a 50-point win in Springfield, 84-34. 34 points is the least amount of points any Lady Panthers opponent has scored in program history.
 
Fans may follow the action through the GLVC Sports Network (subscription required), where games will be streamed live throughout the regular season. New for the 2025-26 academic year, viewing access to GLVC regular season and postseason broadcasts will be available via monthly subscription ($30) or annual subscription ($140). SERIES HISTORY

• Drury leads the all-time series against William Jewell 25-3.
• The Lady Panthers have won 20 straight games against the Cardinals.

STORYLINES

• The Lady Panthers (13-2) sit one game behind UMSL (14-1) in the GLVC standings. With the league's first point rating system (PRS) announcement last week, Drury sits 0.26 points behind the Tritons.
• Drury is riding a seven-game winning streak entering play on Thursday, the longest of the season. It is the second-longest streak under Kaci Bailey (13 during the 2023-24 season).
• During the winning streak, the Lady Panthers are winning by an average of 11.3 points and shooting 48.9% from the field and beyond the arc.
• Drury is the second-best offense in the GLVC, scoring 71.4 points per game. William Jewell is scoring a league-low 50.7 points per game.
• The Lady Panthers are shooting 38.9% from the three-point line this season, top in the GLVC. William Jewell has the third-worst three-point defense in the league, with opponents shooting 32.6% this season.
• Drury's 38.9% is the second-best three-point percentage in the nation, only behind Tampa with a 40.8%.
• The Lady Panthers have the 19th-best field goal percentage in NCAA Division II, 44.7%.
• Sara Mendel has upped her double-double average after back-to-back 20-point double-doubles. Mendel is now averaging 15.2 points and 10.3 rebounds.
• Mendel has posted 16 double-doubles this season. She is two shy of tying the Drury single-season record of 18 held by Reese Schaff from the 2023-24 season.
• The 16 double-doubles are second in the nation, only behind Madeline Evans from Lock Haven, who has 18.
• Mendel has shot 67.1% from the field in her junior year, second in division two.
• Mendel is 20 points from scoring her 800th career point.
• Rhi Gibbons has scored at least ten points in every game this season. She is the first Lady Panther to do so since Paige Robinson in the 2020-21 season.
• Mendel and Gibbons are both in the top six of scoring in the GLVC: Mendel 15.2 and Gibbons 14.3. They are the only pair of teammates in the top six of scoring.
• Josie Storey enters Thursday off a career game. Storey went for 22 points and six made threes against Truman, both career highs. She started the game five-for-five.
• Kaylee King has now made 28 consecutive free throws, dating back to last season. The Lady Panther record is 42 by Bethanie Funderburk.
• Audra Pasakarnis is 15 points from 700 in her career, including her time at Mineral Area Community College. She is six points from 200 during her time as a Lady Panther.
• The starting lineup of Kaylee King, Rhi Gibbons, Jazz Gray, Sage Stratton, and Sara Mendel is now 8-0 this season.
• William Jewell enters play 0-20 under first-year head coach Jenni Croy.
• Jewell is being outscored by 24.9 points per game this season.
• The only Cardinal who is scoring at least ten points per game is Syderah Farmer. She is scoring 10.2 points per game.
• In Kaci Bailey's time in Springfield, she is 14-3 in the month of February.
