FAYETTE, Iowa – Drury wrestling fell to Upper Iowa 38-7 in its final Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) matchup on Thursday, Feb. 5. 
 
Brady Griffin and Nate Wishne were the only two Panthers to earn wins in their matchups at 285 and 141 pounds. Griffin claimed a dominant 14-2 major decision, while Wishne added three team points with a 6-3 decision. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Starting at 184 pounds, Upper Iowa won the first two bouts by technical fall and a fall to earn the first 11 points.
• Griffin earned a 14-2 major decision at 285 pounds.
• Drury forfeited the 125-pound matchup.
• Panthers and Peacocks exchanged decisions at 133 and 141.
• Upper Iowa won the last four bouts, earning two falls and two decisions, as Drury fell 38-7. 

• Griffin leads the team with 24 wins, nine falls, and eight decisions.
• Freshman Garrett Salt has 19 wins on the season with eight falls and four technical falls.
• Jeremiah Halter has earned 18 wins and leads the team in technical falls with eight.
• Wishne stands at 18 wins and leads in major decisions with seven.
• Bryson Humphries and Cole Robertson each have 17 wins.
• Mason Knight has 14 wins with five falls.
• Gaven Bremenkamp stands at 12 wins, and Hunter Tennison stands at 11; both have six falls. 
• Drury closed the regular season 2-10.
