SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury baseball opens GLVC play this weekend with a four-game series against Lewis at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park. The Panthers and Flyers will open their series and conference season Friday (March 13) with a 4 p.m. contest, followed by a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday (March 14) and a single nine-inning game at Noon on Sunday (March 15).
The Panthers (9-7) notched their second win over a top-10 team this season Tuesday with their 14-13 victory over No. 8 Grand Valley State. Greydon Miller finished 4-for-5 with five RBIs to pace Drury's offense, while Logan Reidelberger went 3-for-4 with a home run, four runs scored and three RBIs in extending his personal hit streak to 16 games.

SERIES HISTORY
- The Panthers hold an 11-8 advantage over Lewis entering play Friday.
- Drury won a 4-3 decision over the Flyers in last year's GLVC Tournament in their most recent matchup with Lewis last May.
- Lewis took three of four from DU in its last regular-season meeting in April 2023.
- The Panthers are 6-6 in GLVC openers under head coach Scott Nasby.
LAST TIME OUT
- In a back-and-forth contest that featured four lead changes and 27 combined runs, Drury scored seven times in the sixth inning before holding off a late comeback bid by No. 8 Grand Valley State for a 14-13 victory Tuesday at Mark Worley Field.
- The Panthers overcame an early three-run deficit thanks to third-inning home runs by Jackson Crider and Greydon Miller, then took control for good by scoring seven times before the Lakers could record a single out in the sixth, turning a 5-5 deadlock into a seven-run advantage.Â
- The two clubs combined for 26 hits to go along with 19 walks in the contest, but it was Drury's massive sixth-inning surge that proved the difference.
- Miller finished 4-for-5 with five RBIs to pace Drury's offense, while Logan Reidelberger went 3-for-4 with a home run, four runs scored and three RBIs in extending his personal hit streak to 16 games.
REIDELBERGER ON A ROLL
- Senior INF Logan Reidelberger continued his early-season hot streak at the plate in Tuesday's win over No. 8 GVSU, finishing 3-for-4 with a home run, four runs scored and three RBIs.
- More importantly, he extended his personal hit streak to 16 games, which represents the longest by a Panther since matching 16-game streaks by Nikko Calabro and Jackson Dierenfeldt in 2022.
- Reidelberger's streak is tied with five previous 16-game streaks for the fifth-longest in program history.
BAIN CLIMBING THE DU CHARTS
- Senior OF Connor Bain entered his final season as a Panther with the opportunity to leave a lasting imprint in the DU record book.
- Bain brings a .318 career batting average and 140 runs scored into the week, with the latter total ranking 10th in DU history.
- He also cracked the top 10 on DU's career home run chart with his 14th round-tripper as a Panther in DU's Feb. 22 victory at UCO, then went deep on March 3 at Missouri Southern to pull to within 10 homers of Luke Burk's program record.
- Additionally, Bain has swiped 47 bases to rank seventh on the Panthers' career list, which is 30 shy of Nick Thimesch's program record of 77.
- Bain also ranks among DU's all-time leaders in walks (83) and needs just one more hit to break into the Panthers' career top 10 list, with 192 to his credit.Â
