SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Drury baseball continues its longest home stand of the 2026 season Tuesday (March 10), when it hosts No. 6 Grand Valley State for a 2 p.m., non-conference contest at Mark Worley Field at Meador Park.

The Panthers (8-7) will be looking to right the ship after dropping five-straight games last week, including all four contests against another ranked opponent, No. 25 Augustana, over the weekend. Grand Valley State (14-1), which will face Augustana at 10 a.m., Tuesday morning at Mark Worley Field, brings an 11-game win streak into play Tuesday after sweeping fellow GLVC foe Missouri S&T in a four-game series over the weekend.

Fans may follow the action through the
GLVC Sports Network (subscription required), where games will be streamed live throughout the regular season. New for the 2025-26 academic year, viewing access to live broadcasts from GLVC regular season and postseason contests will be available via monthly subscription ($30) or annual subscription ($140). Single-event access can also be purchased for $15.

LEADING OFF:

  • Drury will celebrate its 20th season of varsity competition since the program's reinstatement in 2007.

  • DU is led by 14th-year head coach Scott Nasby, who has compiled an overall mark of 375-283-1 as the Panthers' all-time winningest coach.
  • The Panthers enter Tuesday's game 4-9 all-time vs. Grand Valley State, which took three of four games with DU last February in Springfield; prior to last season's matchup, DU's most-recent win over the Lakers occurred in the 2015 NCAA-II Midwest Regional in St. Charles.
  • Drury is 1-4 vs. ranked foes this season, including a 9-7 victory over No. 2 UCM on Feb. 10, matching the program's highest-ranked victory (March 2, 2019 vs. No. 2 Augustana).
  • The Panthers have posted at least one victory over a ranked foe in each of the last four seasons, as well as eight total wins over top 10 clubs in the last decade.
  • The DU offense ranks second in the GLVC in hitting (.335), hits (179), triples (7) and slugging (.507), while the Panthers defense has logged the No. 4 team fielding percentage (.963) in the conference to date.
  • Individually, OF Greydon Miller leads all GLVC hitters with his three triples and ranks fifth in slugging (.729); INF Landon Willbrand has recorded 51 fielding assists to lead all GLVC defenders.
  • OF Luke Matschiner enters the week with 11 steals on the season, which is tied for fourth in the conference; he has swiped 43 bases in his career to rank ninth on the Panthers' all-time list, while fellow senior OF Connor Bain ranks seventh with his 46 steals.
