SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Five Drury softball players were announced as part of the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team on May 26.

To be eligible for this honor, players must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher and achieve success on the field throughout the season. Student-athletes must also be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.

For the first time in her standout career, Kaley Adzick has earned the honor. This season, Adzick was a second-team all-GLVC selection and an all-GLVC Tournament team honoree. The senior from Ballwin, Missouri, finished her career with two all-conference selections, more than 100 career hits, 300 innings pitched, 200 strikeouts, and 30 pitching wins. In her three years with Drury, Adzick held a 2.75 ERA, the sixth-best in program history, along with 22 wins and 180 strikeouts as a Panther, ranking seventh and eighth all-time. Her 2.00 ERA this season ranks as the fifth-best single-season mark in program history.

Sophomore shortstop Reece Anderson was selected to the team for the first time. The Willard native reset the program record for single-season assists with 170, surpassing her mark from last season of 160. Entering the NCAA Division II Softball World Series, Anderson leads the nation in assists. Anderson's season was highlighted by her first career walk-off home run against Ouachita Baptist on March 24.

Gabrielle Bax was named to the team for the first time in her senior season. The third baseman from Jefferson City posted 142 assists this season, the tenth most in the nation, making her and Anderson the only pair of teammates in the top ten in assists this season. Bax finished her Drury career with 229 assists, the seventh-most in program history. This season, Bax clinched the Panthers' postseason berth with a walk-off single against Southwest Baptist.

Panthers junior center fielder, Landry Cochran, returns to the academic all-district team for the second time in her career. The Carthage native hit six triples this season, the second most in a single season in program history, moving her career total to eight, the fourth most in Drury history. She was twice an NFCA Top Performer of the Week this season.

Third-team all-GLVC pitcher Jordyn Foley earned the honor for the first time in her career. Foley won 15 games in the circle for Drury this season, the fifth most in a single season in program history. She also eclipsed the 100 career strikeout mark this season. Against Quincy, Foley threw the program's seventh no-hitter, as she struck out a career-high 11 batters. Including the Quincy shutout, Foley had four complete-game shutouts this season.

Drury posted a 27-29 record this season, ending in the GLVC Tournament as one of the final four teams standing for the second consecutive season.
