Qualified for the NCAA-II Super Regional senior year and claimed medalist honors as a senior at both the Buccaneer Spring Invitational and the Maryville Spring Invitational. . . Had a career low round of 74 at the Buccaneer Spring Invitational.
SENIOR
Mitchell recently qualified for the NCAA-II Super Regional and has posted medalist honors at both the Buccaneer Spring Invitational to open Spring play and at the Maryville Spring Invitaitonal. . . Shot a 78 and a career low 74 at the Buccaneer Spring Invitational hosted by Christian Brothers in Germantown, Tennessee. . . Had a 77 and a 76 at the Maryville Spring Invitational to claim first place. . . Tied for fourth in the Fall at the Dan Salisbury Memorial Tournamant hosted by Illinois-Springfield with a 79 and a 77. . . Had a 80.9 stroke average for the fall . . . Tied for 23rd at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship with rounds of 80, 78 and 82.
JUNIOR
Ellen had a ninth place finish at the Maryville Spring Invite with rounds of 83 and 81. . . Also had a pair of 12th place finishes coming in the Fall at the Maryville Midwest Shootout and in the Spring at the UIS Spring Invite.
SOPHOMORE
Ellen placed sixth at the Maryville Spring Invitational with a round of 79 for her top finish of 2013-14 . . . She had a pair of 16th place finishes, those at the GLVC Championships in the Spring and at the Illinois-Springfield Island Getaway in the Fall. . . Tied for 17th at the Bellarmine Spring Invitational and tied for 18th at the UMSL Triton Invitational also in the Spring.
FRESHMAN
Ellen had her best finish of the year at the UMSL/Triton Invitational where she tied for fifth with a season low 75 in the second round and a 158 total . . . Had three top 25 placings, all in the Spring, with a tie for 20th at the Super Regional, a tie for 21st at the Henderson State Federal Invitational and a tie for 22nd at the GLVC Championship.
PREP...
Led St. Mary's Episcopal School in Memphis to the state tournament all four years and was the MVP each of those years...Ellen was a three-time winner on the TGA Junior Tour...Episcopal was undefeated her junior season in 2010 and claimed regionals that year.
