Hit .377 for his career which tied Nick Thimesch for the best career batting average all-time by a Panther and also is the career slugging percentage leader at .610 and has the top career on base percentage for a Panther (.488) . . . Had 18 homers good for third all-time at Drury and had 146 hits, 109 RBIs which is sixth all-time, 75 runs, 40 walks and 32 career doubles. . . Also stole 5-of-7 bases. . . Senior season earned First Team All-Midwest Region (NCBWA) National College Baseball Writers Association and First Team All-GLVC honors. . . Also named third team Academic-All American by Capital One . . . Junior season Luke earned ABCA Midwest Region Second Team honors and was a Daktronics Second Team All-Midwest Region honoree while being named a First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection and twice earning GLVC Player of the Week

Earned First Team All-Midwest Region (NCBWA) National College Baseball Writers Association and First Team All-GLVC honors. . . Also named third team Academic-All American by Capital One. . . Was third in the GLVC and 26th in the nation for hits (82) which tied him for second most in a season at DU . . . Ranked 30th in the nation for total bases and broke school records with 132 for the season and 12 total bases in a game at St. Edward's. . . Was 2nd in the GLVC and 65th nationally for batting average (.396) good for tie for fourth best average for a Panther single season . . . Ranked fifth in the GLVC with 47 RBIs which was sixth most in a single season. . . Had a season high three hits 12 times and matched his career high with six RBIs on three homers to score three runs vs. St. Edward's for 12 total bases (2/20/15). . . Had two doubles in games vs. Lewis (3/15/15) and Maryville (3/29/15) . . . Was walked a career high three times at UMSL (4/4/15) second most by a Panther in a game. . . Set a new Drury record at First Base with 493 putouts on the year.

JUNIOR
Earned ABCA Midwest Region Second Team honors and was a Daktronics Second Team All-Midwest Region honoree while being named a First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection and twice earning GLVC Player of the Week . . . Tewes broke the Drury school record for most RBIs in a season (62) which also led the GLVC and led the conference in RBI's per game at 1.11 . . . Led the GLVC and was second in the nation with 10 sacrifice flies . . . Was thirteenth in the nation for total RBIs and 23rd in the nation for RBIs per game . . . His .578 slugging percentage was fifth best for a season at DU and ranked fourth in the GLVC and 82nd in the nation . . . Luke hit seven homers which tied him for fifth most in a season at DU, tied him for seventh most in the GLVC and was 86th in the nation  . . . Was ninth in the GLVC in homers per game (0.13) and 159th in the nation . . . Matched the Drury single game record with two homers vs. Fort Hays State on April 9 . . . Had 15 doubles which were fifth most on the single season list, tied for fifth most in the GLVC and were 112th nationally . . . His 324 putouts were fifth most in a season at DU . . . Posted 104 total bases good for a tie for eighth in the GLVC and 108th nationally and sixth most for a season . . . Tied for third in the GLVC and was 60th in the nation for toughest to strikeout (0.20) . . . Tied for eighth in the GLVC with 12 hit by pitches and was 102nd in the nation . . . His 10 total bases vs. Fort Hays State tied him for third most in a game by a Panther and his six RBIs in that game were fourth most in a game. . . Hit .356 with 52 starts in 55 games and had a .424 on base percentage . . . Scored 32 runs and had a stolen base vs. William Jewell (April 11). . . Was walked 16 times and had 35 assists in the field.

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Luke transfers to Drury from Iowa Western Community College and played his highschool ball for Waverly High School in Lincoln, Nebraska . . . Helped Iowa Western to a 45-14 record last season and hit .300 in 110 at-bats, with four homers, 30 RBIs and scored 26 runs for national power Iowa Western as a designated hitter and first baseman . . . Carried a 1000 fielding percentage with 207 putouts at first base for Western . . . Iowa Western finished the season ranked 10th in the nation and were ranked first for a time during the season . . . Top game was a 2-for-4 game with two homers vs. Muscatine on April 7 . . . Won post graduate batting title with a .478 batting average at IMG Baseball Academy in Bradenton, Florida . . . He was First Team All-Conference selection at Waverly for both baseball and basketball.
