SENIOR
John was second on the team with a .313 batting average and had 52 hits also second most on the team. . . Had a career high four hits vs. Alderson Broaddus on March 19Â with a career high three RBIs in that game as well. . .Had a 13 game hitting streak on the season. . . Goodrich had doubles vs. Arkansas-Ft. Smith (3/4/16) and vs. Alderson Broaddus. . . Excellent fielder who had five putouts at Missouri S&T on March 25 and at Maryville. . . Had seven assists vs. Quincy on April 16. . . Only committed nine errors for the Panthers in his 48 games in the field.
JUNIOR
John was a key newcomer for the Panthers who stole 5-of-6 bases and hit .276 on the season with 37 hits, 20 RBIs while scoring 21 runs. . . He had a season best three hits in four games and recorded a season best four RBIs vs. Lewis on March 16 . . . Had a season best seven total bases vs. Maryville (3/29/15) which included two doubles and a triple and scored a season high three runs vs. William Jewell (5/3/15). . . Played second, shortstop and third with a season high six putouts at Florida Tech (3/8/15) and six assists vs. Southwest Baptist (3/17/2015).
PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
The 6-1, 182-pound Goodrich will have two seasons with the Panthers after batting .292 with 52 hits, six doubles, two triples, two homers and 26 RBIs to go with 11 stolen bases. . . As a prep standout at Nashville, Goodrich was selected to play in the 2012 Southern Illinois Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Classic as well as the 2012 PNC Bank High School Baseball Showcase. . . Â He was named the 2012 Belleville News-Democrat Class 1A-2A Baseball Player of the Year. . . . Received the 2012 All-Conference Award given by Southern Illinois River to River.
