FRESHMAN
Mike was one of the Panthers top young players in 2015 and hit .297 with a .367 slugging percentage and a .350 on base percentage and made 35 starts . . . Rafter recorded 38 hits, 14 RBIs, scored 18 runs, with nine doubles, six walks and five stolen bases. . . He had a season high three hits vs. Grand Valley State at the NCAA-II Regionals on May 14. . . Had a season best three RBIs vs. Indianapolis on May 7. . . Scored a season high two runs in games at St. Edward's (2/21/15) and vs. Lewis (5/16/15) and was walked a season high two times vs. St. Edward's and vs. William Jewell (5/8/15). . . Stole two bases at Saint Joseph's (3/22/15). 

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Rafter will join the Panthers in the fall after an outstanding career as a two-way player at Whittier Christian, with the opportunity to both pitch and play the infield at DU. . . He led his team and conference with a .430 batting average and a .510 on base percentage his senior season . . . Also led Christian with 22 runs, eight doubles and 37 hits as a senior . . . Michael was a dominating pitcher who led Christian with a 1.84 ERA and 63 strikeouts his senior season . . . As a junior, he batted .429 with 17 RBIs, seven doubles and stole seven of eight bases, finishing 4-3 on the mound with a 1.26 ERA in 44.1 innings with 40 strikeouts. . .  He was also a first team all-conference and all-league choice both as a player and academically his junior and senior seasons. . . . Senior season he earned First Team All-Area and Second Team All-CIF honors.
