SOPHOMORE
Tipton pitched an inning at St. Edward's on February 19 and at Rockhurst on April 24 and made three appearances on the season. . . Had two strikeouts at Rockhurst.

FRESHMAN
Matthew pitched 10 innings and made nine appearances with a season high 2.1 innings vs. Lewis (3/15/15) . . . Had a season high two strikeouts vs. Lewis and vs. Maryville (3/27/15). . . Made one start at Missouri S&T (4/1/15).

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Tipton, a right-handed pitcher, helped the Irish to the Class 3 Missouri state championship this past spring, finishing 10-1 with a 1.90 earned run average and 84 strikeouts in 67 innings pitched. . . Tipton also had five homers and 48 runs batted in at the plate as he earned First Team All-State and First Team All-Central Ozark Conference Small Division honors. . . Twice earned First Team All-District, All-Conference and All-Ozarks honors.
