SENIOR
Matt made appearances against McKendree, at Quincy and Maryville and threw 2.2 innings with a 3.38 ERA…Diekemper recorded a strikeout at Quincy.

JUNIOR
Matt pitched in one game vs. Missouri Western on March 7 and threw 2.0 innings with a strikeout.

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Matt comes to Drury from Kaskaskia Community College where he sat out due to an injury. . . He played his high school ball for Mater Dei Catholic in New Baden, Illinois . . . He was on the Mater Dei Catholic team that set records for most wins in a season his junior season and claimed a regional title in 2012 . . . Was a teammate of former Panther Trevor Richards at Mater Dei Catholic . . . Matt was a member of the National Honor Society, Phi Theta Kappa and received the American Legion School Award.
