Son of Danny and Becky Woods.

AT DRURY...
SENIOR
Woods, a First Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference selection and a Second Team All-NCBWA Midwest Region honoree, went 8-3 on the year and led the Panthers with 91 strikeouts…He saw made 15 appearances, started 14 games, and threw 89.1 innings…Woods had a season-high nine strikeouts at Arkansas-Ft. Smith and recorded eight strikeouts in games vs. Rockhurst and at Northwood in the NCAA-II Midwest Regional…Saw a season-high eight innings of action vs. Rockhurst.

PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Woods was a 2015 MCAC All-Tournament pitcher and at College of the Ozarks his team became the first 30+ win team since the 2007 team...Threw 83 innins and had 75 strikeouts at C of O in 2016 with 15 games on the mound and 13 starts...Went 7-5 with a save, had six complete games and two shutouts and held opposing batters to a .259 batting average...Earned First Team All-Conference his senior season and First Team All-District at Republic...
Had a 0.99 ERA in 55 innings of action with 70 strikeouts...Is an excellent student who was on the Athletic Directors Honor Roll.
