Martinez was on the 12th place 800 Free Relay team and the 13th place 200 Free Relay team at the National meet...Placed second in 400 Free Relay at the GLVC Championship meet.
2017-18
Completed his first season on the squad.
High School
Has posted top times of 49.54 in the 100 meter freestyle and a 22.54 in the 50 meter free, both long course...He was third in the European junior championships and second in the World Junior Championship in the 50 meter free in 2011....He was the absolute Spanish champion in the 50 meter free and 100 meter free in 2013...Swam in the Olympic games in Rio in 2016 with the Spanish team and was 13th in 4 x 100 meter free...Aitor comes to Drury from the University Camilo Jose Cela.
