Played in 60 games and made 57 starts with 451 career points and a 9.0 points per game average in his two years at DU...Shot 50.6% for his career on 203-of-401 shooting...Pulled down 327 boards and averaged 5.5 per contest with having career numbers of 95 assists, 58 steals and 26 blocks...Was a 75.3% career free throw shooter.

Parks is a 6-foot-5 forward from Jonesboro, Ark., who played the last two seasons for John A. Logan (Ill.) Community College...He averaged 13 points, eight rebounds and 1.4 steals while shooting 54 percent from the field for a Logan team that won 22 games...Was a two-time all-state and all-conference pick for Jonesboro High School and averaged 15 points per game and nine rebounds per game...Parks helped Jonesboro capture the 2007 Class 6A state title his senior year and scored 21 points with nine rebounds...In 2006 Jonesboro was the state runner-up and won a conference title...They were ranked among the nation's top 50 teams in 2006-07 and posted a record of 26-4...He had offers from the likes of NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State and Western Illinois as well as Missouri Western.
