A native of Nyanga, Zimbabwe, he attended St. John's College in Harare. . . Earned the prestigious St. John's Cross Award in Triathlon in 2015. . . He was the captain of the cross country team at St. John's . . . Was runner-up and awarded the silver medal for Zimbabwe Junior Sportsman of the Year in 2014 and 2015. . . Was one of three athletes selected from Africa to compete at the ITU World Championships held in Chicago in 2015. . . Won the silver medal at the Mandela Day Triathlon in Midmar, Howick, South Africa. . . Won the gold medal at the Africa Cup U-17 and took a bronze at the Youth Olympic Games qualifying race in East London. . . Was named Most Outstanding Athlete for the Zimbabwe Triathlon Association in 2014 and 2015 . . . Set a new school record at St. John's in the U20 College Cross Country races. . .
