2021
McNew started all 40 games at shortstop and hit .310. McNew showcased his power often during the year with 24 extra base hits of his 45 total. His 10 HR’s puts him in the top 5 category for a season. He also stole 9 of 10 on the bases and worked 11 walks to bring his OPS to 1.025. 

2020
McNew started all 20 games of the COVID shortened season and hit .246. He drove in 8 and walked 8 times while swiping 3 bases in 3 attempts. DJ had 5 hits during the spring Hawaii trip while playing shortstop everyday. 

HIGH SCHOOL
McNew was a All-State selection in 2016 and named the Conference MVP in 2016 while at Mountain Grove High school...Helped Mountain Grove to a state championship in 2016.
