Bena ranks second all-time indoor in the 800 meter (1:59.04) and also ranks second in the 800 meter outdoor (1:56.13)...Is seventh all-time indoor in the mile (4:24.70)...Bena is also on the all-time best indoor 4x400 Relay team (3:31.45) and is on the fourth best outdoor 4x400 Relay team (3:30.78)...Is also on the fourth ranked all-time indoor Distance Medley Relay team (10:32.36).

High School
Was a state qualifier in track & field and cross country last year competing for Jefferson City Public HS....placed 132
nd individually at the state cross country championship as he helped the Jays advance to the state meet...qualified for the Class 5 state meet in the 1600 meter run in his junior and senior year....was a district title in the 800 meter run and was 11
th in the state finals with a time of 1:59....also ran a leg of his team's 4x800 meter relay team that finished seventh at the state meet....has personal best times of :53 (400), 1:57 (800), 4:29 (1600), and 17:06 in a five-kilometer cross country meet.
