Biography
AT DRURY
2018-19
Kyla is another mainstay in the lineup providing reliability and consistency for us.
Kyla led us in 2 categories, Frame Average 18.48 and 1st Ball Average 8.78, while
sharing the lead in Spare Percentage at 77.4%...Kyla will more than likely fill our 4th
position again this season, however may see some time at leadoff in our Baker
lineup...Both of these positions require a player that can fill frames and be consistent
enough to help others find the line.
2017-18
Played in nine tournaments as a freshman...named honorable mention All-MIAA...led the team with a 177.9 average...posted a .352 strike percentage and a .768 spare percentage.
HIGH SCHOOL
Kyla took fourth place the the conference tournament and earned All-Conference honors for Lemont High School...Was a 2017 regional and sectional qualifier...Helped Lemont qualify for state her freshman season...Was a member of the National Honor Society.
PARENTS
Kevin and Kathy Owens...Major is Psychology/Occupational Therapy.
