Helped lead the Panthers to a 4th place finish at the GLVC XC Championships...Ran a PR 32:32.43 in the 10k at the GLVC Track and Field Championships...Ran a PR 15:28.37 in the 5k at University of Central Missouri Mule Relays
2020-21
Was 59th at the GLVC championships...Indoor- ran a career-best 4:44.88 in the mile at the Northwest Open.
2019-20
Ran his top 10K time of the year (36:25.9) at the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Cross Country Championships…ran his best 8K time of 28:13.0 at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships...was third in the 5000 (16:0747) at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge...named Academic All-GLVC.Â
2018-19
Purifoy ran a top time of 25:04.02 at the Bearcat Invitational and posted an 18th place finish at the Gary Stoner Invitational (28:49.04)...Named Academic All-GLVC.

HIGH SCHOOL
William was a four-year letterman in cross country and track for Little Rock Central High School...He twice earned All-Conference honors in cross country (2017 and 2018)...Was a two-time All-Conference selection in track and field in the 3200 meters...Also named team captain for two years in cross country...Personal best times of 4:49 in the 1600 meter, 10:10 in the 3200 meter, and 16:54 in the 5,000 meter.
