Blake McKay comes to Drury from Rend Lake College in Illinois, where he was named a National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region XXIV selection in 2020-21…averaged 12.2 points as a freshman.

HIGH SCHOOL
McKay scored more than 2,000 points during his high school career at Woodlawn, Illinois and finished his prep career ranked second on his school’s all-time scoring list…played for head coach Brian Gamber…helped his team to a 31-4 record in his senior year, and was named a First Team Class 1A All-State performer by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association and by the Associated Press…was the Southern Illinois Player of the Year by A Baseline View as a senior…was named his conference’s Player of the Year three times…was on three regional championship teams and a sectional championship squad…played AAU basketball for the Illinois Bears and head coach Justin Barrington.
