2021-22
Went 2-3 competing at 125 pounds as a junior

Made one appearance in his second season

Went 5-9 in his freshman season

2018-19
Gentzler redshirted for the Panthers during the 2018-19 season. As a redshirt Gunnar posted a 7-4 record while placing in to open tournaments. Gentzler placed 6th in the Kaufman Open before placing second in the Drury Open. 

High School
Gentzler placed second at the Kansas State Wrestling Championships as a junior and senior and took fifth his freshman season...Helped Andover Central High School to a second place team finish at State his senior season at Andover High School.
