Had 18 hits in her sophomore season….named to GLVC All-Academic team.
2016
Abbey had 22 hits as a freshman...had nine RBIs on the season . . scored six runs and had three doubles with three walks and two stolen bases. . . played in 49 games and made 39 starts....named to GLVC All-Academic team.
HIGH SCHOOL
Abbey earned class 6A All-State honors in 2013 and was a 6A and 7A Central All-Conference selection in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and was an Arkansas 5A West All-Conference selection in 2012. . . She was an Arkansas High School Fast Pitch Association Junior Classic Player selection in 2014 and was an Arkansas Activities Association Senior East All-Star selection in 2015. . . Helped Greenwood High School win the 2015 class 6A State title and 6A/7A Conference title. . . Abbey started all 121 games of her high school career placing 114 hits with 30 of them being for extra bases, 53 RBIs, 92 runs scored and was walked 43 times. She had a .331 career batting average for Greenwood and hit .514 in club ball.
