AT DRURY
2021
Brant led the team again in walks with 30 which allowed him to hold an OPS of .794. Brant saw time in the OF, 3B, 2B, 1B, and DH and was a true utility man. Of his season total 34 hits, 6 came for extras while picking up 24 RBI’s. He had 2 3-hit games including a huge performance against Missouri St. with 3 hits and 3 RBI’s.
 
2020
In the 13-7 short season, Brant hit .340 with team leading .554 OB%. He was perfect on the bases with 5-5 SB’s and drove in 9 RBI’s. While starting 17 games on the year, Schaffitzel reached base in every one of them. Brant finished the year with a .954 OPS.

2019
Schaffitzel led the Panthers with 42 walks on the season and recorded a career-high four hits vs. William Jewell.  Brant started 41 of the 46 games he played in and had 34 hits, 33 runs, 18 RBIs, and stole 3-of-5 bases....Named Academic All-GLVC.

2018
Named Second Team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference as a freshman...led the GLVC and set a program record with a .545 on base percentage...led the conference and shattered a team record with 49 walks (the previous mark was 32)….finished fifth in the GLVC with a .366 batting average…led the Panthers with 42 runs scored, 12 doubles,  was second on the team with a .455 slugging percentage...finished third on the team with 20 RBIs…was fourth on the team with 49 hits and had a season-high three hits in four games...notched a season-best four runs at Missouri S&T….drove home a season-high four RBIs at Truman State and posted a four walk game vs. Sioux Falls...had a 12-game hitting streak March 31-April 21 and went 18 for 42 (.429) during the streak…went 8 for 15 (.533) in the four-game series vs Rockhurst April 8-9...named to GLVC All-Academic team.

HIGH SCHOOL
Brant earned Second Team All-State honors in 2016 and 2017 while at Hillcrest High School... Hit .421 with a .607 on base percentage his senior season...Was on three district runner-up teams at Hillcrest...Earned All-Conference honors three times and was the SABA All-Star MVP...Earned All-Conference honors as a Linebacker in football and made 120 tackles...He was an academic All-State selection in baseball and football...Earned All-Conference honors in football.
