FRESHMAN
Saw the most action of any pitcher on the DU squad with 61.1 innings of action on the mound and led the team with 50 strikeouts. . . Had a 3-5 record and a 4.70 ERA in 12 appearances and threw two complete games. . . He had three hits, two of those doubles and three RBIs against Pittsburg State (4/22/09). . . Had two runs and two walks at Harding (3/3/09). . . Hit .267 in 15 at bats and six runs and five walks.

PREP...
Was a second team all-state pick in 2007 for Hillcrest High School and set the school record for most career strikeouts with 331. . . As a senior he had a 0.76 ERA for the Hornets. . . Earned first team All-Ozarks honors as a pitcher in 2007 and 2008. . . Named first team All-Ozark Conference in 2007 and 2008. . . Was on the Missouri Junior Sunbelt team in 2006 and 2007 and in 2007 his team won the championship. . . Named Missouri Sportswriters Second Team All-State pitcher in 2006 and 2007. . . Earned Second Team MHSBCA All-State honors as a DH/Utility in 2007. . . Named Hillcrest High School MVP in 2008 and helped Hornets to the state final four in 2006 and a regional ranking of eighth. . . Had high school career stats of 24-6 record on the mound with six saves and a 1.80 ERA. . . Hit .364, had an on base percentage of .495 and 45 RBIs.
