Richards joins the Drury baseball coaching staff this season after serving as a Royals Scout team member in 2019 with the national 16u baseball team. Kellan also was a substitute teacher in the Olathe public school system last year. Richards worked with Diamond B Sports as a facility supervisor and pitching instructor from 2012-2019.
Richards graduated from Missouri Western in 2019 with a degree in Management and was named Student Athlete of the year and was a MIAA Academic Honor Roll member all four seasons for the Griffons. Kellan set a school record for most appearances in a single season at Missouri Western with 35.
