HIGH SCHOOL
Emitt was a four year starter for McDonald County High School where he earned Honorable Mention All Big 8 Conference honors and Honorable Mention All-District honors...Twice was named the Mickey Mantle Wood Bat All-Tournament team and was twice named to the Neosho Press All-Daily News team...Dalton has been a top academic athlete award-winner for the Mustangs each of the last four seasons and led his squad in hitting at .352 while maintaining a 3.9 grade point average...He was a Second Team All-District choice last season behind the plate.
