AT DRURY
JUNIOR
Justin made 31 starts and played in 36 games at season base for the Panthers…He hit .307 on the season and added 27 hits, 20 runs, 12 walks and nine RBIs…Abernathy matched his career high with three hits vs. Missouri S&T and matched his career high with two walks vs. Maryville…Was second on the team with eight hit by pitches.

SOPHOMORE
Justin hit .309 on the year, fourth best on the team and had 29 hits, scored 17 runs and had 14 RBIs in 94 at bats. . . Stole 7-of-10 bases good for second most on the team and stole three bases at Rockhurst on April 23. . . Added five doubles and eight walks. . . Justin recorded a career high three hits in games at Missouri S&T on March 26 and at Maryville on April 29 . . . Abernathy scored a career high three runs at Maryville on April 29 and had a career high three RBIs at Truman State on April 3. . . Recorded a best four total bases at Missouri S&T on March 26 and was walked twice at Missouri S&T on March 25. . . Had a career best eight game hitting streak on the year.

FRESHMAN
Justin made eight starts including the Panthers May 16th NCAA-II Regional game vs. Truman State and played in 19 games and a second baseman. . . Abernathy scored four runs on the season and had three hits. . . He had RBIs in games vs. Missouri S&T (4/14/15) and vs. Arkansas Tech (4/22/15) . . . Was walked twice at Missouri-St. Louis (4/5/15). . . Recorded a season high four assists vs. Arkansas Tech (4/22/15) and had a season high three put outs in games at Saint Joseph's (3/22/15) and vs. Rockhurst (4/26/15).

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned Second Team All-Conference honors his senior season . . .  As a junior, Abernathy hit .382 for the Spartans, and over the course of 46 games in '12 covering spring and summer, he hit .375 with four doubles, seven triples and a homer. . . He was 7-1 on the mound with a 2.98 ERA and six saves, and currently is hitting .419 with six steals in six attempts. . . His brother, Kevin, runs cross country at Drury. . . He graduated with a 3.8 grade point average and was on the Honor Roll each semester.
