Matt played in 11 games and made five starts as a catcher and hit .273 with three hits, two runs, a walk and was hit by pitch twice . . . Had a .429 on base percentage and a .273 slugging percentage.

FRESHMAN
Started five games and played in 13 his freshman season with a season best two hits and a run at Pittsburg State (3/12/13) . . . Was walked twice in back to back games at Christian Brothers (2/16/13) . . . Had an assist vs. Rockhurst (4/29/13) and recorded 16 put outs with a season high seven at Pittsburg State as a catcher for the Panthers.

PREP...
Matt was a three sport athlete at Little Rock Catholic High School where he earned 7A All-Conference football honors in 2010 and 2011, Basketball All-Conference honors in 2012 and Baseball All-Conference honors for 2010, 2011 and 2012 ... Earned All-State, Little Rock All-Metro and All-Star honors in baseball at Catcher ... Graduated with a 3.97 grade point average and was named to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette All-Academic Team.
