Tersteeg hit .315 on the season and had 29 hits and scored 27 runs. She also was a key base runner for the Panthers who stole 11-of-13 bases. Matched her career-high with three walks vs. Truman State. Had a season-high two RBIs in games at McKendree and vs. UMSL and stole a season-high two bases at Lincoln...Named Academic All-GLVC.
2018
Played in 38 games and made 29 starts as a freshman...was the Panthers leader for stolen bases going 12-for-12 on the bases...stole three vs. Bellarmine…hit 274 on the season and racked up a season-best three hits vs. Quincy, including a homer…had nine RBIs for the year and scored 21 runs during the year...named to GLVC All-Academic team.
HIGH SCHOOL
Megan earned First Team All-District and All-Region honors, and was a Third Team All-Metro selection while at Francis Howell High School...Earned St. Louis Post-Dispatch Player of the Week honors and was selected to play in MO/IL USA All-Star game in 2016 and 2017...Helped Francis Howell to back-to-back district titles in 2015 and 2016...Was on a USSSA team that placed third at Nationals in 2011 and 2012...Graduated Summa Cum Laude, with a 4.58 grade point average, and was in the top 3% of her class.
