SOPHOMORE
Saw 3.2 innings of action and threw 1.1 innings at Pittsburg State (3/12/13) with an inning of action at Southern Indiana (3/8/13) and vs. Southwest Baptist (5/1/13) . . . Also saw 0.1 innings on the mound vs. Illinois-Springfield (4/14/13) . . . Had a strikeout at Pittsburg State and vs. Southwest Baptist.

FRESHMAN
Threw 4.1 innings and made five appearances with a season high two innings of action at Pittsburg State (4/25/12). . . Threw an inning vs. McKendree (3/3/12) and struck out a season high two batters. . . Had a strike out at Pittsburg State.

PREP...
Twice earned Second Team All-District and Second Team All-Conference honors at Eureka High School. . . Phil was had a 1.51 ERA and went 4-3 with eight starts in 2009. . . In 2010 he had a 2.50 ERA and went 4-3 in seven starts while throwing 32.7 innings. . . This summer Phil went 6-1 with a 2.55 ERA in nine starts. . . He helped Eureka to a second place district finish in 2009 and a national ranking of 21st after the first week in 2010. . . Was on the honor roll all four years.
