Riley played in five games and made a start at DH vs. Lewis. He scored a run and had five at bats with three walks and an RBI...Named Academic All-GLVC.
2018
Saw action in 20 games and made 18 starts as a sophomore…hit .230 and recorded 14 hits in 61 at bats while scoring 11 runs and driving home 11 RBIs…had a career-high four RBIs and three hits vs. Davenport during their March series...named to GLVC All-Academic team.
2017
Riley made 24 starts and played in 28 games and hit .241 with 20 hits, 16 RBIs and scored 10 runs…Herron had a season high four total bases vs. nationally ranked Central Missouri and had a season high three RBIs in the Panthers season opening series vs. Washburn which included a triple…Riley had two hits in games vs. Washburn, McKendree, at. Arkansas-Ft. Smith, and vs. Southwest Baptist.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned First Team All-State honors as an Outfielder and was a unanimous First Team All-Ozark Conference selection at Kickapoo...Earned First Team All-District honors, was named USA Today All-Ozarks Team and was named Springfield Lead-Off Club Offensive Player of the Year...Was a Newsleader SW Missouri Sports Award finalist and earned Ozark Conference All-Academic honors his senior season...Hit .446 his senior season with a .913 slugging percentage, a .546 on base percentage, and had seven homers with 18 stolen bases, 35 runs and 30 RBIs...As a junior Herron helped Kickapoo to a third place finish in the Class 5 State Tournament and was a Second Team All-State outfielder...He also played on the basketball team and earned letters his junior and senior seasons...Academically, he was very active in several organizations, including the National Honor Society, and ranked in the top 10 percent of his senior class with a 4.73 gpa (on a weighted scale)...He plans on pursuing an Accounting major at Drury.
