PREP/PREVIOUS SCHOOL...
Johnson hit .385 with 16 RBIs and a .450 on base percentage and struck out just twice during his junior season at Oak Grove... Stole 13 bases in 15 tries and had an on-base percentage of .533, earning Honorable Mention All-State honors...Sophomore season he hit .340 with a .400 on base percentage...Was a three-time All-MRVC West Conference selection earning First Team honors as a junior and senior and Honorable Mention honors as a sophomore....Earned First Team All-District honors as a junior and senior...Set the school record with five hits his sophomore season vs. Battle High School...Went 2-for-3 with two walks, two RBIs and a SAC bunt as a freshman in the Final 4 Tournament vs. Boonville and Westminster Christian...Started as shortstop sophomore through senior season and was the starting third baseman his freshman season...Led Oak Grove to four conference titles and a State Finalist finish his freshman season...His off-field accomplishments include serving as the National Honor Society president, student body president as a junior and senior and being a four-year captain on the baseball team...Active in band, school plays and musicals...He will also join the DU choir while majoring in Political Science.
