Tyler went 9-3 in his two seasons as a Panther with 65 strikeouts in 86.2 innings with 38 appearances . . . Had a 4.28 ERA.
SENIOR
Tyler went 2-0 on the season with a 3.34 ERA in 32.1 innings on the mound and made 21 appearances . . . VanGerpen posted a season best four strikeouts twice, those coming at UMSL (4/6/13) and vs. Southwest Baptist (5/1/13) . . . Threw 4.1 innings at UMSL.
JUNIOR
With a 7-3 record VanGerpen had the most wins of any DU pitcher in 2012. . . Tyler had a 4.80 ERA in 54.1 innings of action with 38 strikeouts in 17 appearances and made six starts. . . He had a season high six K's vs. McKendree (3/4/12) and struck out five batters vs. Saint Joseph's (3/17/12). . . Threw a season high six innings vs. Missouri S&T (4/3/12) and vs. McKendree (3/4/12).
