Clay Henderson is in his first season as Assistant Coach for the Bass Fishing Team. He is a 2025 Drury graduate, with a degree in Management and Marketing and a minor in Communications. Clay was a member of the Drury Bass Fishing Team for 4 years. He had great success fishing at the collegiate level for the Panthers, qualifying for 3 Collegiate National Championships and winning the Major League Fishing Collegiate event on Table Rock in the Spring of 2022.
Clay brings a wealth of tournament fishing knowledge and experience to the Panthers. He fished the National Youth Fishing Association tournaments as a middle schooler for 2 years and for 4 years at the high school level for Purdy, MO. After graduation, Clay fished professionally on the Bassmaster Opens in 2026, with the goal of qualifying for the Bassmaster Elite Series.
Clay is most excited about working with young anglers and guiding them through the collegiate experience. He is anxious to share his knowledge on the bodies of water that he fished both on the college and professional level and looks forward to traveling with the team.
