PREP...Cameron Adams of Fort Smith (Ark.) Southside, 6-foot-5, 200-pounds helped Southside's Rebels to a 25-4 record in 2010-11, averaging 12.4 points and 8.5 rebounds while shooting 65 percent from the field. . . A three-year starter at Southside for coach Charles Cooper, Cameron helped Southside win their first conference championship in the last eighteen years in 2010-11. . . The left-handed Adams was a First Team All-State, All-Area and All-7A West Conference selection and was also chosen to play in the Arkansas All-State basketball game this past summer. . . He was a two-time All-State selection and a three-time All-Conference selection. . . Adams, who had 19 points and 18 rebounds in his final prep game against rival Fort Smith Northside, is also a two-time Arkansas Class 7 state champion in the high jump, having cleared 6-foot-5 to bring home the title as a junior. . .
