Ricks played for Arkansas State University Mid-South CC in 2015-16 and averaged 11.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game as a freshman...Shot 52 percent from the field, 43 percent from three-point range and posted a 76 percent mark from the free throw line...Helped his team to an 22-6 record playing for head coach Chris Parker and an Elite 8 finish...Scored a career high 30 points vs. Western Kentucky College...Played his high school ball at Wilber D. Mills High School in Little Rock, Arkansas under head coach Raymond Cooper...Was a First team All-State performer in Class 5A in addition to being named to the All-State Tournament team...Also selected as First Team All-District, and First Team All-Little Rock Metro squads...Picked to play in the state's All-Star Game as one of Arkansas' top 24 players and was named the East Team's MVP in the game scoring 15 points...Averaged 15 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals per game in his senior season and helped Mills to a 20-7 record...Scored a career high 24 points vs. Paragould...Was a three-year starter for his high school.
