HIGH SCHOOL
Devon Barshow was the Player of the Year in the Red Pool of the St. Louis Suburban Public High School Athletic and Activities Association as a senior in 2019-20 at McClure...averaged 14.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game....shot .401 from the field while shooting 72 percent from the free-throw line going 97 for 135...helped McClure to a 22-5 overall record, a 7-0 mark in the conference, and a number three state ranking in Class 4 at the end of the regular season in 2019-20. In 2018-19, Barshow was a high school teammate of former Drury forward Jason Montgomery at Marquette High School in St. Louis...was named the Newcomer of the Year in the division that season as the Mustangs went 20-6...played AAU basketball for Gateway.
