Played in 11 games as a freshman…scored four points and had three rebounds…scored three points vs. Central Christian on Dec. 14…named to GLVC All-Academic Team.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a First Team All-State selection in Class 5 and was a Third Team All-St. Louis Metro pick after averaging 16.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game last season...he helped the Mustangs to a 20-6 record and the team's first conference championship since 2013...named the Player of the Year of the Yellow Division of the Suburban Conference was the Most Valuable Player of the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Challenge Tournament held in Springfield....Montgomery surpassed 1,000 career points during his senior season and ended his high school career ranked third at Marquette in career points, rebounds, and blocks...also ranked fourth all-time in three-pointers made, fifth in career steals and seventh in all-time assists. Montgomery also earned Player of the Year honors in the Suburban West Conference during his junior season after averaging 20.7 points in 2017-18.
