Named Second Team All-GLVC...played in 28 games and made 28 starts...averaged 13.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists...shot .390 from the field, going 129 for 330 and was .324 from three-point range, hitting 67 of 207...shot .773 from the free throw line, connecting on 58 of 75 attempts...led the GLVC in steals, averaging 1.9 per game...ranked 2nd in the GLVC in three-pointers made with 67...his 67 three's are tied for the 19th most in a Drury single-season...scored a season-high 29 points vs. Maryville on Jan. 11...had a career-high 12 rebounds vs. Quincy Jan. 25...had a career-high 9 assists vs. Truman St. on March 2...made 7 three-pointers vs. Univ. of the Ozarks on Dec. 5...had 4 steals vs. Upper Iowa on Feb. 29...had three double-doubles, including a 22-point, 12-rebound performance vs. Quincy on Jan. 25...scored in double-figures 20 times...

2022-23
Named GLVC Freshman of the Year...was the first Drury player win the league's Freshman of the Year award since 2010...named to the GLVC All-Freshman team was the only unanimous selection to the squad...appeared in all 28 games and made 12 starts...led Drury in scoring averaging 13.3 points...ranked 7th in the league in three-pointers made with 67...his 67 three's were tied for the 18th most in a Drury single-season...shot .440 from the field and .390 from three-point range...was .831 from the free throw line hitting 64 of 77...averaged 1.2 steals and 1.6 assists...scored a career-high 31 points against McKendree on Jan. 5...had a career-high 8 rebounds at Illinois Springfield on Jan. 14...had 6 assists at McKendree on Feb. 18...had a five-game stretch where averaged 23.4 points (Dec. 19-Jan. 12) that included games of 26, 14, 31, 24, and 22...named Newcomer of the Year for Drury Athletics in 2022-23.

Applegate averaged 25 points, five assists and five rebounds for Nevada High School and spent the 2021-22 season with We Are United Prep in Nixa...At Nevada, he was a First Team All-State selection in Class 5 and was named Area Player of the Year by the Joplin Globe in 2021...Class 5 D-12 Player of the Year
