He's the all-time scoring leader in NHS history with 2,483 points, including a 24.1 points per game average as a senior for the 27-3 Pirates who advanced to the state quarterfinals ... Was coached by his father, Morris Jenkins ... Jenkins also averaged 6.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.8 steals this past season, earning the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association's Class 2 Player of the Year honor ... He was a four-time All-Summit League choice in addition to making the MOBCA all-state team three times and the AP all-state squad twice ... Jenkins averaged 21.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.2 steals over his four-year career, shooting 41 percent from 3-point range ... Helped Norwood win the Cabool Holiday Tournament twice and three MSHSAA Class 2 District titles ... Was the class valedictorian and graduated with a 3.98 grade point average ...
