AT DRURY
2019-20

Ran a career best time of 35:46.8 in the 10 K at the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Cross Country Championships…Had a top 8K mark of 27:29.6 at the Missouri Southern Stampede...finished 3rd in the 800 (2:00.64) at the UCM Inv....on 2nd place Distance Medley Relay team at GLVC championships...named Academic All-GLVC.

2018-19
Bena ran in three meets for the Panthers in 2018 with times of 24:38 in at the Bearcat Invitational, a 28>28.02 at the Missouri Southern Stampede and a 28:11.04 at the Chili Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas...Earned Academic All-GLVC honors.

2017-18
CC- Ran in all six meets as a freshman...posted best 8-k time with a 28:04 at the GLVC championship hosted by Truman State...finished 100th at the GLVC meet.
Track- Qualified for the GLVC outdoor championship in the 800 meter run and the 4x400 relay...posted a season's best 1:56.13 in the 800 meter run at the UCM relays on April 20...named to the GLVC All-Academic Team

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a state qualifier in track & field and cross country last year competing for Jefferson City Public HS....placed 132nd individually at the state cross country championship as he helped the Jays advance to the state meet...qualified for the Class 5 state meet in the 1600 meter run in his junior and senior year....was a district title in the 800 meter run and was 11th in the state finals with a time of 1:59....also ran a leg of his team's 4x800 meter relay team that finished seventh at the state meet....has personal best times of :53 (400), 1:57 (800), 4:29 (1600), and 17:06 in a five-kilometer cross country meet.
