AT DRURY...
SENIOR
Heffington ran in two meets with a 42nd place finish at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree (18:05) 5K and a 66th at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite (28:50.48).

JUNIOR
Competed in three of the Panthers meets with a top showing coming at the Missouri State/Richard Clark Invitational where he placed 81st (30:04) ... Also ran at the Sean Earle Lakefront Invitational hosted by Loyola-Chicago and the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships.

SOPHOMORE
Had a top time of 28:40.7 at the GLVC Championship Meet and ran a 29:17 at the Missouri S&T Jackling Jocks Invite and a 30:16.21 at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree.

FRESHMAN
Ran in four races in 2010 with his highest finish of 52nd coming at the Southwest Baptist Twilight in a 5K to open the season with a time of 19:11.69. . . Ran a 30:16 at the Sean Earle Lakefront Meet.

PREP...
Bryce is a local runner from Parkview High School who earned the All-Viking Award in Cross Country and Track and Field. . . He was on the 4x800 meter state qualifying team in 2010 in Track and Field that was third best time at Parkview 8:06. . . Ran a top 5K run of 18:01 at the district meet and had a his top time in the 800 meter of 2:01. . . Heffington was an Academic All-Conference selection and earned the John Phillip Sousa Outstanding Concert Bandsman honor for the Viking Band. . . He graduated in the top 10 percent of his class with a 3.95 grade point average and was a member of the National Honor Society. . . Was an A+ Qualifier, earned the Board of Education Award, the George Washington Carver Award and Seals of Excellence in both Mathematics and Band.
